Purely because it sounds cool, the Frog Blog is named for the spring peeper I’ve been laboring over to advertise our next Trash Pick-Up event on Saturday, February 4th (and also one of the designs that will be available at the next Oden Brewing fest)!

Trash Pick-Up
Last Time (the First Time!)
Last time, the first time, we gave everyone burgers and dogs before we set off in the swamp to pick up trash. It was a great time, we picked up over ten bags of trash and a giant metal barrel, which you can see Pete holding over his head in the first trash pick up review.
Piedmont Land Conservancy
The Piedmont Land Conservancy (PLC) is, as described in the previous trash pick-up blog, a nonprofit that seeks to conserve our natural lands before development or industrial companies attempt to make use of them. After sending the link of the previous blog to Kevin Redding, the Executive Director of this nonprofit, the PLC contacted me praising our efforts and ensuring us that they will help promote the event. Spring Peepers
The Spring Peepers at the swamp are a boisterous bunch in the summertime. When it’s rainy and hot, we await the arrival of the peepin’ as the sun goes down and watch the fireflies seemingly dance to the sound. The other day when we were filling the garden beds with our massive compost pile, we accidentally upturned a hibernating spring peeper. We felt bad that we scared him, and tried placing him back in the compost pile. Video to come soon, here he is below:

First time using Illustrator, first time recording my screen designing digitally, and first time posting it on YouTube. I was lazy about the video but I think it’s quite amusing, if I may say so myself!
